IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL STUDENTS

The University of Newcastle has made the decision to close all locations, with the exception of Newcastle City campus and Sydney, on Tuesday, 12 November 2019 due forecast weather conditions and catastrophic bushfire risk. The safety of our students and staff is always our priority.

Exams scheduled for Callaghan and Ourimbah for Tuesday, 12 November will be rescheduled to Saturday, 16 November. If you have exams scheduled for Tuesday, 12 November at Callaghan or Ourimbah please attend the same time and room as scheduled on Saturday.

Any exams scheduled at Newcastle City Campus or Sydney will proceed as scheduled.

Exams for Port Macquarie and Taree will be rescheduled soon, and you will be emailed with details when they are confirmed.

You will not need to submit an adverse circumstances request for exams originally scheduled for Tuesday, 12 November at locations other than Newcastle City or Sydney if you are able to attend on the rescheduled date.

If you are unable to make your exam on the date to which it has been rescheduled you will need to submit an Adverse Circumstances request online.

All students will be emailed further details so please check your student mail.

Hey mob!
An awesome opportunity here on campus to put your mark on the campus. NUSA is looking for and Indigenous artist to paint a mural on the NUSA building to commemorate the buildings history as the first autonomous Indigenous space on campus 30 years ago funded with Bi-Centennial money.
If you would like to know more about the brief, payment and the intent of the mural please put an expression of interest in, show us you art style or tell us how you would approach the project.
If not you, share it to deadly mob who would liven up the University of Newcastle with their art.

NUSA is still seeking a mural artist to paint an indigenous themed artwork on the side of the NUSA building. Please email [email protected] for more info!

We have now extended the proposal submission date until Monday 30th September.
