Great couple of days last month at Smart Energy 2026 in Sydney with the Open Solar team! Pictured in the center is our very own Jae.

On 18 June, our CEO Rob Veitch is giving up his creature comforts 🐨🦘 for a sleeping bag at Adelaide Zoo, taking on his first Vinnies CEO Sleepout. One cold night to stand with people doing it tough across SA.

The best part? Rob is almost there. He's just $1,000 away from his fundraising goal, so we’re close to getting him over the lion 🦁 (line!)

Two days. 350+ delegates. One booth in the middle of it all.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth 6 at . The conversations, the honest debates, and the questions about where construction actually goes from here made it one of the best events on our calendar.

Representing Aerometrex on the ground were Daniel O'Donnell John Beresford Anita Minett and Kieran Ella . They fielded everything from discussions about the value of frequently updated aerial imagery to deeper chats on Brisbane 2032 readiness, cutting unnecessary site visits, and how historical captures take the guesswork out of early project planning.

A few themes that kept coming up:

🏗️ Confident quoting needs current data. Driving out is not always the answer.
🌏 Brisbane 2032 is already taking shape, aerial data is key to how teams think about site selection and make risk assessments.
🤖 AI in construction is exciting, but it is only as useful as the data underneath it.

Thanks to FuturePlace and the FCON team for putting on a genuinely well run summit, and to every delegate, speaker and exhibitor who made the two days worth being there for.

🚀 MetroMap crossing into profitability for the first time, contributing $5.7m in subscription revenue (up 21%)

As CEO Robert Veitch noted in the article: "The beauty of platform technologies is that much of our cost base is fixed, meaning future subscriptions will increasingly flow through to margins and the bottom line."
