PPIA University of Canberra - UCISS University of Canberra's Indonesian Students' Society (UCISS) is one of other student organizations Why Join? The members enjoy a wide range of benefits:

a.

Since first time affiliation, UCISS has been granted many awards. The latest one was in September, where we were given a present in the Open Day as the most glorious student organization. Recognizing and more understanding the culture of Indonesia, which is reflected in the values, attitudes, behaviors, and language of Indonesian students who were studying at the University of Canberra;

b. Being

pleased to follow a variety of activities held by UCISS such as training of Indonesian traditional dance, enjoying a variety of cuisine from Indonesia, trips, recitations, and other activities;

c. Getting a lot of information about Australia’s culture and environment and how to adapt well, especially for newly arrived students;

d. Obtaining information on accommodation, part-time jobs, and other valuable information;

e. Having the opportunity to contribute directly or indirectly for social and humanitarian oriented UCISS’s programs, such as programs ‘GELAR’;
