We are a research group specialising in conservation in the context of rewilding, genetics, translocations, and coexistence.

Our lab is thrilled to announce the release of our new book! 📕🌿

What can 20 years of ecological restoration teach us about bringing research, policy and practice together?

This book explores the Mulligans Flat–Goorooyarroo Woodland Experiment, drawing on two decades of collaboration between researchers, government decision-makers and conservation practitioners to share the challenges, successes and lessons learned along the way.

From establishing long-term restoration projects with multiple partners to translating ecological research into teaching and practice, the book offers practical insights for researchers, policymakers and restoration practitioners alike. As well as featuring reflections from land managers and perspectives on the future of ecological restoration.
