Hello from the GPS!

On the 8-9 of November this year, the post-graduates from the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Monash University are hosting the 31st Victorian Universities Earth and Environmental Sciences Conference (VUEESC).

VUEESC is an annual event that allows Honours, Masters and PhD students from all over Victoria to present their research findings to the scientific community. The conference is scheduled to be held at Monash University, Clayton campus.

For those of you interested in presenting, the deadline for abstract submission is 13 September.

The GPS are delighted to share the announcement of the Victorian Geographical Student Conference 2018! (VGSC 2018)

The VGSC 2018 conference theme is frictions, a conceptual umbrella appealing to the different facets of contemporary geography practice.

Contributions may explore this theme of frictions within one of four sub-themes: regimes, temporalities, motion & resources.

The VGSC 2018 will be held on November 29 at the School of Geography, University of Melbourne.

The call for abstracts to the conference is now open and will close on September 3.
