City Community Tennis is home to the UTS Tennis Club located in Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills – a short stroll from the UTS Broadway Campus. Featuring five Plexicushion courts (surface of the Australian Open), the club is suited to players of any standard from beginner to elite, and social players to serious competitors. UTS students qualify for an impressive range of membership benefits, includ

ing free use of racquets and great rates on Court hire, Classes, Competitions, Social tennis, Cardio tennis and Pro shop items. We also plant a tree for every new and renewing member to offset your carbon footprint while you play tennis! Alternatively please call us on 9698 9451 or visit our office at the Prince Alfred Park tennis courts. A valid UTS student or staff ID is required to receive membership discounts.

Game set match… postponed by the rain 🎾🌧️

UTS Tennis came out firing at the East Regional Conference against Sydney’s universities, with both the men’s and women’s teams off to a roaring start before the weather called it quits. We’ll be back when the skies clear and ready to finish what we started 💪🔥

🦎🎾 UTS Tennis Team Trials – UniSport Nationals 2026🎾🦎

Think you’ve got what it takes to represent UTS? 👀

We’re holding trials for the University of Technology Sydney Tennis Team competing at **UniSport Nationals in Perth, WA🇦🇺

📅 Trial Dates:
• Monday 20th April
• Wednesday 22nd April
⏰ Time:12–3PM
📍 Location: Prince Alfred Park, Surry Hills

To trial, you must complete the Expression of Interest form via the link in our bio– successful applicants will be contacted directly with further details.

🏆 What you’re trialling for:
• UniSport Nationals: 26th September – 3rd October 2026
• Opportunity to compete in the University Tennis League earlier in the year

💰 Costs:
If you are not part of the Elite Athlete Program, expenses may be up to $2500 (with subsidised accommodation).

📊 Selection Criteria:
Teams will be selected based on trial performance, playing history, and ongoing results.

ANNOUNCEMENT ON OUR ELITE SQUAD!! 🚨🚨

In 2026 we have decided to restructure our competitive team for nationals and the structure is as follows:
⭐️ Trials will be open beginning in August 2026 for our nationals team and will be open to players who have a current UTR or a competitive profile with past achievements
⭐️ After trials a team of 6 males and 6 females will be selected and invited to train for a 6 week period in the lead up to Unisport Nationals 2026
⭐️ All players invited into the squad will be playing UniNationals, located in Perth WA
⭐️ Players who are trialing MUST be available between 26th September and 3rd October 2026 to play UniNationals
⭐️ Players MUST also attend training weekly at a minimum and be playing competitively as much as possible in the lead up to the event
⭐️ Use the link in bio to express your interest and we will contact you at a later stage to confirm your attendance at training
