SMEE - Society of Monash Electrical Engineers

SMEE - Society of Monash Electrical Engineers Student club at Monash for those studying Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering subjects.

The Society of Monash Electrical Engineers (SMEE) is a student run social organisation formed to bring together Electrical Engineering Students at Monash to increase networking and awareness. SMEE gives students a chance to interact with other students, whether it is finding tips and information regarding how to most effectively complete their degrees, who to talk to about which queries such as ge

tting work, vacation employment or a graduate position. More senior students also share experience on how to go about Final Year Projects. This coupled with the numerous social events allows SMEE to encapsulate university life for every Electrical Engineering student at Monash. The club also offers industry networking and seminars targeted specifically towards Electrical Engineering, whether it is communications or power related careers. Club memberships are open to anyone who is curious about the world of Electrical Engineering or just wants the odd free lunch and drinks with others who share similar interests.
