Monash University Netball Club

We are a student lead netball club, with six competitive teams across multiple divisions in the Autumn and Spring competitions at Waverley Netball Centre.

The Monash University Netball Club caters for female players of varying skill levels. Our competitive women’s teams participate in the Waverley Night Netball Association competition on Monday nights across 5 divisions, from premier league to division 4. We train once a week at Clayton campus on Thursday nights with a strong focus on developing new and existing players. What a huge Round 17 to close out the season! 💙
We finished with two teams heading into finals — Platinum and Diamonds 🎉👏 Massive congrats to both squads!

It was chaos in the best way with a classic Monash vs Monash showdown: 💙 Platinum 24 – 24 Rubies ❤️. An absolutely nail-biting game with an incredible comeback from the Rubies — one of the matches of the season!

And apparently it was the week of draws 😅 Three teams ended their games all tied up… including one against each other. Truly iconic Monash energy.

So proud of everyone for such an amazing season — the improvement, the spirit, and the vibes were unmatched 💙✨

Results Another big week of Monash netball, with Bronze bringing home a strong win and Opals battling right down to the final whistle for a tense draw 🤝💙. Rubies, Diamonds and Silver faced tough opponents who pushed the pace all game, and Platinum enjoyed a well-earned bye before the final run toward the end of the season 🔵✨

A massive week of netty for Monash! 💪 Platinum kicked things off with a solid win, while Diamonds put on a strong performance to take the match by 10 💎. Opals absolutely dominated their game, coming away with a huge 27-goal victory 🤩🔥. It was a tougher round for Rubies, Silver, and Bronze, who all battled hard against strong opponents — still plenty to build on heading into the final stretch!

Another huge week for Monash Netball, with plenty of close battles across the board! 💪 Opals went head-to-head with the top of the ladder Templeton Timberwolves and came away with a well-deserved draw 🔥. Bronze, Rubies, and Diamonds all had super tight matches that came down to the wire, while Opals secured an impressive nail biting draw against the team at the top of the ladder. Silver also walked away with the forfeit win and some extra recovery time before the next round 💙.

💎 Diamonds vs Silver – always a crowd favourite! Silver had a huge second-half comeback but Diamonds just held on for the win 👏

Another big week on court for our Monash Uni Netball Club teams! 💙💛
Here’s how everyone went this round 👇

💎 Diamonds took a great win over McKinnon Saints – 33–24!
🥈 Silver with another strong performance – 38–24 against Highvale Emeralds!
👏 Rubies came out on top against Platinum – 30–21!
💪 Tough games for Bronze (23–34 vs Ratsak) and Opals (14–29 vs Northvale Hawks), but great fight from both sides.

Another big week of netty for MUNC! ✨

👏 Huge congrats to our Opals, who took the win over Good Lightning Shepard with a strong 10-goal lead 💪🌟

Platinum had a bye this week (rested and ready to bounce back next round!), while Rubies, Diamonds, Silver and Bronze all went head-to-head with some tough opponents. Despite the scorelines, the effort, spirit, and teamwork were on full display 💎🔥

Super proud of everyone for bringing the energy and supporting each other on and off the court 💙 Let’s roll into Round 10 with that same spark! ⚡

What a week for MUNC! We had some awesome wins and plenty of hard-fought games 💪✨

⭐ Platinum smashed it with a strong win over Ashwood Leopards!
⭐ Opals came away with the win against Waverley Meadows Quartz 🙌
⭐ And a HUGE shoutout to Rubies, who took down Storm (2nd on the ladder!) in an incredible game – such a massive effort team!! 🔥💎

Diamonds, Silver and Bronze all played tough matches against some very competitive teams – well done for leaving it all out on court 👏💙
