Centre to Impact Antimicrobial Resistance
Our Mission is to provide solutions that will minimise and reverse antimicrobial-resistance. We plan to provide evidenced-based guidelines to (1) reduce the transmission of antimicrobial-resistant infections, (2) extend the working life of current and new drugs (3) identify and develop new targets for drug development and (4) improve health outcomes of Asia-Pacific and Global Communities.
Professor Trevor Lithgow’s vision has led to the creation of a specialised multi-disciplinary centre, to enact real change to the global problem of AMR. The Centre houses expertise across several critical disciplines, including Sociology, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Engineering, Biochemistry, Biomedicine and Chemistry. Located at Monash University campus Clayton, Victoria, Australia.
This page is providing a mixture of peer-reviewed science relating to AMR and AMR issues relating to Public Health concerns.
