The Monash Philosophy Society (MPS) seeks to stimulate an interest in philosophy and facilitate a lifelong love of wisdom. MPS is not merely an academic club – we promote friendship between members through events such as film and philosophy game nights along with weekly discussions, which wind up in general socialising and lunch at Wholefoods. We also promote reading groups that focus on specific

philosophical themes. At MPS we see philosophy as a lifestyle of inquiry and discovery into what, how and why we believe and whether we should believe differently. The MPS welcomes all students regardless of their level of experience in philosophy. Whether you live for discussions or just like to listen to them, this is the club for you!
