Victorian School of Forestry, Creswick Forming the Victorian School of Forestry was one of the many recommendations of a Royal Commission held between 1897 and 1901 into Victoria's forests.

It was the first tertiary forestry school in Australia. To provide VSF graduates:
- A common education listing
- A site to facilitate the discovery of other VSF people on Facebook
