Thankyou to everyone who attended RANDA's first online Formative Trivia Night last week. Using a new format "Quizizz," teams battled it out through 3 rounds of practice exam questions to try claim the top spot. In the end Team 1 (Janet, Joshua, Aalia, Andrew, Mia, Sidney, Yan and Austin) won the Prezzee vouchers. The bonus round where everyone competed on their own also saw Nicholas take home a voucher as well.

Congratulations to all the winners and we hope all who attended had a good time while revising content.

Good luck for the upcoming exams and keep an eye out for RANDA's next event!

The TOP 5 Science program aims to discover Australia's next generation of dynamic science thinkers and give them a voice.

The scheme equips emerging science scholars with media and communication skills to share their ideas and specialist knowledge more widely, through expert commentary and analysis.

This scheme is open to early career researchers, defined as within seven years of having their PhD conferred.

Applications close 1 June 2020 at the following link:

This year, ABC TOP 5 Science is offered in collaboration with a new partner, the Australian National University, which brings a wealth of experience in research engagement to the program, including through its Centre for the Public Awareness of Science.
