HCTE Sydney Welcome to the Human Centred Technology and Engineering (HCTE) Group: Our research aims to create future technologies that are transformative.

Our research aims to create future technologies that are transformative. We tackle human challenges that demand innovations combining technical expertise and human-centred research methods. We bring deep insights into human problems and create new technology to address them. Our research reflects the deeply human-centred nature of engineering. It is collaborative, with researcher teams bringing complementary skills and perspectives to create effective science, design and engineering solutions. The Human Centred Technology (HCT) cluster is based in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies. Its researchers come from Schools across the Faculty, bringing together a range of technical excellence. They work with researchers from diverse disciplines, including Business, Design, Education, Nutrition, Public Health, Medicine and Psychology.
