It's that time again - for the last time! This is week twelve in CUC100 and your assignments are due on Sunday February 14th. Valentines Day (who set THAT due date?!). So, with the pressure at an all time peak I've designed a colourful and highly informative couple of sessions for us. Hopefully you have a complete draft for us to go through, but if not, we'll work on mine. We're going to 'mark' our essays using the tutors grid, test them for style using "The Writer's Diet" http://writersdiet.com/?page_id=4, and arrange to swap with our peers for bonus perspective (it makes all the difference). Anything else worrying you? Just ask :).

CUC100 PASS this week Monday 7pm and Friday 12noon NT time.
Congratulations to all of you who have submitted the Powerpoint assignment! You'll have feedback soon which will be very informative for your final essay.
In the meantime, how's your research come along? Where are you at with your draft?
We had a lot of fun in PASS last week - let's keep it coming! This week you'll have even more opportunities to learn from (read: poke fun at) the mistakes that I made when I did this unit. Don't worry; I can take it :). I also have lots of activities to choose from for learning academic structure and style - this helps!!

CUC100 PASS today is cancelled - I am bedridden on account of having hurt my back 🙁.
There is also no PASS on Australia Day, Tuesday next week.
I will hold a make-up session this coming Monday at 7pm NT time. Hope to see you there 🙃.

Aloha sailors :p, this week in CUC100 PASS something is a little bit funky :s - can you tell what it is?? My slides have all caught a case of "reverse psychology". They're full of errors, and your job is to spot them and correct them. It's not hard, they're ridiculous errors! But it will be lots of fun and very informative for anyone making the final touches on their PPT. I'm also fully armed and aimed at assignment four. That sucker isn't getting away; we're staying right on target! Tuesday 5pm and Friday 12noon NT time. Google "PASS at CDU" for links.
