A quick boat and a very accomplished skipper!

Congratulations PECCADILLO S4, skippered by Charles Meredith with the crew of Alastair Bennet, Angela Riolo, David Blake, Graham Noble, Murray James, Philip Remilton, and Sterling Garbler for completing the 51st Melbourne to Hobart Westcoaster on 30th December 2023 at 07:04:01 (adjuted after a course time penalty applied) AND taking the multihull line honours for 2023!

Peccadillo is the first multihull to compete in the Melbourne to Hobart in over 30 years and sets a new Multihull course record 2D:18H:04M:01S (record was 3D:3H:35M:32S) 🏆

Navigating at night? Ensure your boat's safety with proper nav lights! For powered vessels under 12m, the configuration differs when underway and at anchor.

- When underway, a powered vessel under 12m should display a red light on the port side and a green light on the starboard side, visible from a distance of 1 nautical mile along with an all round white light.
- When at anchor, the same vessel should turn off their side lights and only display an all-around white light visible from 2 nautical miles.

The all round white light is critical when underway, so that you are visible from behind, by overtaking boats.

Thrill-seekers, it's crucial to keep your jets in check! Here are the speed and distance regulations you must follow:

🔵 Do not exceed 5 knots within specified distances.
🌊 Whether near people, vessels, structures, or dive flags, maintain a safe speed.
⚓️ Remember, 5 knots equals 8-9 km/h!
