The guinea pigs love their food and sometimes a bit too much:) At the animal house we are encouraging the guinea pigs to move more with new enrichment such as cardboard cat scratchers( you can see they have jumped onto the cat scratchers to reach their feed). Feel free to post any ideas you think will get them moving!

Here is an update on our Animal House Garden! Thanks to the Horticulture students, we have an array of new vegetables, fruit and herbs! Lately the mice have been enjoying slices of silverbeet, carrot and celery. I wonder what the guinea pigs and rabbits will fancy?

Here at the Animal house we are hoping to be more sustainable by growing our own greens for the rabbits, guinea pigs and mice. Thanks to the Horticulture students for planting a variety of lettuce, kale, carrots and herbs. Now they are ready to harvest!🐭🐹🐰
