VU’s 2026 Executive in Residence Andrew Poole is back on campus, and he’s brought 17 years of Nike experience with him. 👟💡

Now CEO of Melbourne-born QUAD LOCK, the VU alum knows a thing or two about building brands, growing teams and taking a career global. 🚴‍♂️🌏

Each year, the program brings an experienced industry leader into the VU community to share the decisions, lessons and curveballs behind their career.

Andrew has already been out and about this year, mentoring student pitches at the SPARK hackathon and dropping by Wyndham Tech School to chat leadership and business + tech career pathways.

For 110 years, VU and its predecessor institutions have opened doors for people with talent, determination and grit. Tan Sri Sir Dr Jeffrey Cheah walked through those doors as a student. Through his leadership, philanthropy and commitment to education, he has opened doors for countless others. From his beginnings at Footscray Institute of Technology to becoming a global business leader and champion for education, his impact has been felt far beyond our campuses. We were proud to welcome him home and recognise his extraordinary contribution to society with the 110th Anniversary Award for Global Impact in Education.
