A quick note about SOMA Ball table allocations 💃🕺

With 300 people attending the SOMA Ball on Tuesday, we’ve had the tricky task of fitting everyone across exactly 30 tables of 10.

Unfortunately, this meant we weren’t able to keep every requested group completely together. We know this is disappointing for some people, and we’re really sorry that we couldn’t accommodate every preference.

We’ve done our best to make any changes as comfortable as possible by moving couples, pairs or small groups together wherever we could, and seating people with others from the same university when possible.

At this stage, the table allocations are final, as every seat has now been accounted for. It’s also worth remembering that the seating is primarily for the meal, with most of the night spent standing, socialising and dancing together.

We really appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope that, once the night gets underway, the table plans won’t matter too much anyway!

We’ve put a huge amount of work into making Tuesday a great night for everyone, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all 300 of you 🥂

For those encountering issues when purchasing ball tickets… here are a few steps to amend the issue!

1. Ensure that you have signed up RMIT specific membership for all VU students and staff! Please note that students will need to enter their student number…make sure to check if you are using a ‘s’ or an ‘S’ before your number as the site is case sensitive.
