The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is the world’s first and Australia’s most awarded specialist educator in games, film, animation and visual effects education. Created as a non-profit organisation to grow the creative digital sector, AIE pioneered the development of specialist game and film qualifications and continues to innovate through industry partnerships and dynamic teaching. AIE courses are practical, career-focused and delivered by industry experienced teachers in a seriously fun and creatively-demanding studio environment. While we won't be running our usual in-person Teen Start-Up camp this January, we do have something special to get our young innovators designing, building and creating. Teen Start-Up is a fun program where students aged 11-14 years are taken through the innovation development process. Our Summer holiday Idea Journal is an eBook full of creative prompts that encourage students to explore, create and use their imagination. They introduce students to entrepreneurs and innovators across a broad range of industries including space, cybersecurity, urban design, the creative sector and much more. The journals encourage students to practice their creative problem solving skills and contain tools, thinking skills and "how-to's" that can be applied broadly to both schoolwork and life.
