Paid opportunity for students to get involved and make a difference! 📣

The jump from high school to uni can be a big one! Fast-paced content, huge lecture halls, and suddenly being responsible for everything yourself!

It can all be very overwhelming, so that's why UQ's Student-Staff Partnerships (SSP) is looking for student partners to help smooth the education continuum for first-year students transitioning into Faculty of Science! You'll work alongside UQ staff to create resources that raise awareness and foster empathy among staff and students about transition pressures.

The secret is out! UQVSA has been working behind the scene to develop the INAUGURAL UQ x JCU Vet Rugby Weekend!

If you are interested in this event as a rugby player, supporter, cheerleader, or official water kid, come along to MORRISON HALL Downstairs on Friday 15th of August (Week 3)

Food will be provided and any questions will be answered on the evening!

The team is also open to graduated students from the UQ BVSc program!

🐄 UQ Union Placement Bursary 🌱

The UQ Union Student Rights Collective has just opened applications for the UQU Placement Bursary Program for semester two!

“We recognise that many students undertaking their placements are facing and experiencing financial hardship and that’s why we offer this bursary to offer some form of financial support to help accommodate any additional costs that students may experience whilst going on placement or even to assist with paying for living expenses.”
