What an incredible week in Jakarta!
Over the past week, we had the privilege of delivering Culinary and Hospitality training programs to Indonesian students and participants, and what an outstanding success it was. The week was non-stop from start to finish, filled with learning, collaboration, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections that will leave a lasting impact on everyone involved.
A special thank you to Ashley Ford and William Manning, whose passion, expertise, and dedication as Cookery and Hospitality teachers inspired participants throughout the program. To Katrina Bye, thank you for your vision, commitment, and tireless work in developing this opportunity and turning it into a reality.
Thank you also to Audrey Perez-Lagana, International Team Leader, and Leanne Green, Portfolio Manager, whose leadership, support, and commitment helped ensure the success of the program.
A heartfelt thank you to the team at Butchery Training Centre (BTC) for their outstanding organisational skills, hospitality, generosity, and kindness throughout the week. Your support was invaluable. We are also incredibly grateful to Podomoro University for facilitating the project and for being such welcoming and collaborative partners.
Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without the support of the Victorian State Government through funding from the YES to International Students Fund. This investment in international education has created meaningful opportunities for students, educators, and institutions to learn, grow, and connect.
The feedback received throughout the week was incredible. We leave Jakarta with new knowledge, stronger partnerships, valuable takeaways, and full hearts. It is a powerful reminder that with hard work, determination, and collaboration, great things can happen.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this such a rewarding and memorable experience. ❤️
