MEET JACK!

Jack thought his path to a Mechatronics degree meant packing up and heading to Melbourne. A stint of automation work experience had sparked the goal, but chasing it looked like it meant leaving the region behind.

Then local firm I2R Group offered him an Automation Cadetship, and the Country Universities Centre helped connect the dots to an online degree he could study right here. Now Jack's building his career and his qualification without leaving home.

Study locally. Stay locally. Work locally.

Real careers. Real pathways. Right here at home.

As part of Grow Our Own - Riverina, we developed Industry Pathways sheets to assist students in navigating careers within local industry and business - whether that's straight from school, TAFE, an apprenticeship, or university️.

And this August, we're taking them off the page, visiting local businesses alongside high school students.
