Amazing news for all our international students living in NSW - check out the information below! πŸ˜πŸ™

Posted β€’ πŸ“¦ We're extending our partnership with to distribute another 62,500 food hampers to international students across Sydney and NSW.

NSW Treasury Deputy Secretary Trade and Global NSW Jenny West said the food hampers come from part of $4.1 million allocated to Foodbank to deliver food security to vulnerable NSW communities.

Each hamper is valued at $80 and packed with student favourites like instant meals and coffee, plus pantry staples such as breakfast cereal, long-life milk, rice and sauces.

Siddhant, an international student from India said β€œthe hampers have been a lifeline for the international student community and benefitted thousands of my peers. I am incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the NSW Government.”

Study NSW and Food Bank Partnership

Study NSW has partnered with Foodbank NSW & ACT to provide free food hampers* to international students in NSW.

https://www.study.sydney/student-welfare/food-assistance

The hampers will be distributed at locations in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Armidale, Lismore, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

To access your hamper, follow these steps:

Call Food Bank on (02) 9756 3099 or complete the Foodbank form for international students
State that you are an international student and your suburb, then ask for the distribution point closest to you
Have your student visa and student card with you when you collect the hamper
We trust these hampers will provide some comfort during these challenging times.

AIH students runners up in Global Challenge!

The Global Management Challenge is an international competition represented by more than 30 countries. This competition is based on business simulations with the objective of obtaining the highest investment performance. University students, among others, participate in this challenge.

AIH is proud to announce that our team, AIHE1, came a close third in the Global Management Challenge Project (2020 Australian Winners). Members of the team include Anjana Dhungana (Team Leader), Leewan Belle Morones, Charlene Christine Servandil and Arafat Anik. Team participants gain knowledge while enhancing their problem solving and data analytical skills. Congratulations to all involved.
