Go is one of the oldest boardgames in existence that is still played today. Created in ancient China over 3000 years ago, it is a game of strategy in which players must score points by surrounding areas of the board. Go's rules are extremely simple to learn, but from them rise a rich complexity that will continue to engage you for an entire lifetime.

Here are some photos to celebrate 2 years of club meetings at Good Games Hobart. Going into 2026 we're looking at potentially moving to a new venue and changing the meeting time.
