UTAS Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society

UTAS Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society Welcome to the Homepage for the University of Tasmania Chapter of the Golden Key Society.

A special welcome to our prospective members, we hope that you can acquire a taste of what our society is all about. For our existing members, we hope that you can find all the information you need about what we are up to as a Society and hope to see you soon at our exciting upcoming events! The University of Tasmania Chapter of the Golden Key Society was initially formed in 1997. Since then, it h

as continued to grow strong with over 7000 undergraduate, postgraduate and alumni members. The year 2015 saw the extension of the Executive Committee to the University of Tasmania Launceston Campus. Using video link we are now able to link our meetings between the two larger campuses allowing for more opportunities to reach out to our members and offer more benefits across the state. Golden Key members stand for leadership, academics and service, however the way in which these qualities are expressed is entirely unique to the individual. Golden Key encourages diversity amongst its members, inviting the top 15% of academic performers from the University of Tasmania to be inducted across all university academic domains. Golden Key offers members opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and is a platform to network with the top professionals across a range of disciplines. Each year, Golden Key runs events locally, nationally and internationally which target a range of areas such as skill building through to socialising. In addition, Golden Key offers unique scholarship opportunities exclusive to its members to honour commitment to academia, leadership and community. We are always looking for new inspiration and fresh ideas to help us strengthen our ties within our University of Tasmania Golden Key community. We warmly encourage you to come along to our next meeting and share your thoughts!

~~~
Golden Key members Stand Out in their academics by placing in the top 15% of their university. Joining the Society provides members with a variety of leadership opportunities to demonstrate that they have the courage to Stand Up and take charge to gain valuable experience for their professional life. Above all, Golden Key is a conglomeration of leaders— exceptional young men and women who are willing to serve others and make a positive impact on the world. When we Stand Together, we can make a greater impact than any of us could individually. GK awards a variety of scholarships and members are eligible to attend Asia-Pacific regional conferences and International Summits.
