Finding art in the simplest places 🌿
Last week, our Drawing students took inspiration from bark — exploring the beauty found in natural textures. Each piece revealed its own story through twists and turns, soft waves, bold marks, and rich definition.
What began as a simple observation became an exercise in slowing down, looking closely, and creating thoughtfully. A reminder that inspiration is everywhere — sometimes, it’s right beneath our feet.

National Reconciliation Week - All In
National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June and is a time to reflect, learn, and come together as a community.
This year’s theme, “All In,” reminds us that reconciliation isn’t passive — it takes all of us, every day.
The dates mark important moments in our history — the 1967 Referendum and the Mabo decision — milestones on the journey toward recognition and justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
As a community, being all in means listening, learning, and taking action to build respect, understanding, and a more inclusive future.
