QUT Education Professional Experience aims to connect QUT Faculty of Education students to specialized professional experience placements & employment opportunities. The QUT Faculty of Education is unique in its blend of large-scale teacher education and research excellence. With over 5,000 students and almost 200 full-time staff, we are able to offer a comprehensive range of education specialist

programs including early childhood, primary, middle years and secondary programs. We offer postgraduate studies in a range of areas, such as teacher-librarianship, school guidance and counselling, and literacy. Award programs include:

- bachelor
- graduate diplomas
- graduate certificates
- masters degrees
- professional doctorate
- doctor of philosophy. We have strong links with the professional community at a state, national and international level. Our staff are committed to improving the quality of education for diverse learners both in Australia and beyond. Many of the faculty's pre-service graduates are registered with the Queensland College of Teachers but others work in child care settings or as trainers in community and industry settings. We have built an excellent research profile, supported strongly by the work of the Office of Education Research. Our staff support researchers with grants, administration, finance, travel and resources, while also organising the training of higher degree research students. Eligibility
You must be:
• enrolled in a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching course
• undertaking a professional experience placement in Semester 2, 2023 in the South-East Queensland area
o applicants undertaking professional experience placement in regional, rural and remote areas are encouraged to apply for the QUT Equity Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Relocation Busary
• experiencing financial or social impact in order to undertake the placement.

Calling all HPE enthusiasts!!

Walloon State School have a unique opportunity for students to volunteer with a high performing HPE specialists. HPE lessons are 90 minutes for each class, split into a 30 min lesson and a 60 min lesson (11 classes). Students would also be able to work with HPE specialist to deliver the Athlete Development Academy and also run our High Ropes and Adventure Zone program every Friday.

Brisbane State High School is opening its 2023 Future Leaders Program to university students who are looking to progress into the education, sports management or cricketing industries.

The program is designed to develop aspiring applicants by exposing them to advanced leadership and management practices within the cricketing sphere. Each applicant will be mentored throughout the year and will be provided opportunities to lead students, staff and parents, as well as work within the wider school community.

This leadership program is aimed at students who are looking to gain a distinct advantage when applying for employment upon their graduation.

The six modules of the program are:

Administration and Program Management
Coaching and Player Development
Principles of Leadership
