Fabsoc’s picnic shoot! Shot at a lake on a dreadfully windy day. It was impossible to light those sparklers 🥲

We ran through an entire box of matches before we finally managed to light one… the only reason we stopped shooting was because the fire died😵.

The picnic came to a close with us covered in chocolate cake (the photos were too messy to post!).

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up, where we’ll be electing the 2027 Executive Team.
📅 Thursday, 8 October
🕕 6pm-8pm (time variation subject to quantity of nominations)

Secretary
Arc Delegate
VP Externals
VP Internals
VP Creative (Social)
VP Creative (Editorial)

If you were already registered as a FABSOC member on Rubric, you should have received the official AGM notice by email. To nominate yourself for a position, simply reply to that email with the role you’d like to run for. You can also nominate yourself during the AGM itself if you decide to run on the day.

Nominees should prepare a short 2-minute speech introducing themselves, why they’re running and what they’d like to bring to the role. An optional presentation is also welcome to support your campaign - particularly for the VP Creative positions if you’d like to show ideas, plans or previous work.

Voting will take place during the AGM, so come along, have your say and help shape FABSOC for 2027.

Create art that transforms 💐

Assembly is an incredible new event showcasing the works of fine arts and design students through a runway and exhibition at the new Paddington Campus Courtyard. We want to see your art and celebrate the diversity of practices, perspectives, and voices that shape our school!

The theme is: The Personal is Political, inspired by Carol Hanisch
We’re looking for submissions across:
