And we’re off🚀

The Grow the Future Training Certificate has kicked off for the spring, and we had an amazing time in n Wednesday welcoming a new cohort of young people to the space! 🌱🐝

The group spent the morning getting g to know each other, getting familiar with the site, and getting their head around what we’ll be covering for the next 16 weeks.

🌱We then got our hands dirty, kicking off the ‘Undertake Propagation’ Unit with a practical in propagating from cutting and division.

We spent the afternoon diving into the world of vegetables and herbs - starting to learn the basic needs of plants, the common threats they face, and some strategies we can use to overcome these threats!🥕🫜🌽🫘

We’re so stoked to be delivering this program again in partnership with Kiama & Shoalhaven Community Colleges!

No stretcher? No problem. 🪢

Watch our students turn sleeping bags, rope and more into a full carry systems built from scratch, on the spot, in the bush.

That’s a wrap on National Skills Week! 🙌

28/08/2026

☕ National Skills Week is all about real, hands-on training and our EVET barista class is proof.

This week, our students got behind the machine to try their hand at alternative milks. From lattes to cappuccinos, real skills are being built one cup at a time.

Skills like these open doors, whether it’s your first step into hospitality or a whole new career path.
