"We are proud to share the final report for CRE-STRIDE (2020–2024), capturing our research activities, evaluation findings, and key messages for strengthening systems to improve health equity in comprehensive primary health care.

This report reflects the incredible achievements of STRIDE over the past five years. Together, we have developed evidence and new partnerships for systems strengthening, advanced continuous quality improvement, and created space for Indigenous leadership to flourish. We worked across sectors, embraced creative, non-traditional research outputs, and built research capacity through a community of care and learning.

Our collective efforts informed policy, produced impactful research, and amplified voices that have long called for change. These achievements belong to every person who contributed - communities, health workers, investigators and partners.

A huge thank you to everyone in the STRIDE network who made this work possible."

STRIDEr's!

This Australian first is fresh off the press and ready to be shared, today we are shining the spotlight on the new 🌅 National Climate Risk Assessment 🌅

Essentially this report and approach has provided an understanding of who or what might be at risk from a changing climate, across the 11 different regions of our country and helps to paint a national picture for decision makers, to help them better prioritise adaptation actions.

A big congratulations to all involved! 🥳

STRIDEr's!

Some happy news coming out of the Healing Country project from Turrbal and Yugara Country 🥳

Last week we had such an amazing workshop with our deadly community partners and representatives, the QUT VISER team, and our Healing Country project team.

This meeting was an opportunity to start working on some 'story data maps', which are essentially a collection of respectfully gathered stories of Country's health from three different project sites: Warumungu (NT), Whadjuk Noongar (WA), and Bundjalung Country (NSW).

These stories and data will then be displayed in an interactive website format that uses different mediums such as graphic art, animations, sound, and soundbites of Elders yarning with researchers, weaving together experiences of a changing climate and its impact on local animals and community health.

The link below has a deadly video that explains the project and the positive impact of the collaborative work we are doing. You can also find the summary report of our last three-day meeting on Bundjalung Country, along with presentations from our beautiful service partners on the work they and we are doing!
