The goal of this uni club is to organise diverse social events, be it picnics on the lawn, sporting events or even a uni ball, to bring students of all ages and degrees together and share the uni experience. GREAT GATSBY | Like to dress to impress and wanting to support a great local charity? Head along in your finest attire to the Great Gatsby Gala on Sat 16 Aug from 6.30pm. Held by RHINO, James Cook University's Rural Health Club (in Mackay) International, raising funds for Mackay Hospital Foundation.

Tickets are $60 for RHINO non-members. This price includes drinks (bar tab of wine & beer), lots of tasty canapés and music (didgeridoo welcome & DJ).

How hard is it to give away free stuff? Seriously! We're still looking to give away 2x vouchers for the Andergrove Tavern, which have to be used this weekend because they expire next week. Privately message us the answer to this riddle...we've even given you a clue below!

The riddle: A man walks into a pub and simply orders a water. The bar tender looks at the man, grabs a shotgun, and points it at the man's face. The man says, "Thank you," gets up, and walks out of the pub. Why did they behave this way?

The clue: The man had a case of the...what?

Last Friday night's Trivia Night on campus. The lucky door prize was: an Elizabeth Arden beauty set, a bottle of champagne and a Mackay Day Spa voucher for a spa pedicure valued at $67! And as the winner pointed out, our Trivia Night taught her Elizabeth Arden's real name...Florence Nightingale Graham! :)
