💙 Today is Swallowing Awareness Day 💙

Did you know over 1 million Australians live with dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)? It affects eating, drinking, taking medication, and even protecting the airway.

Swallowing is essential to daily life, yet awareness remains low. This day highlights the impact of dysphagia and the vital role speech pathologists play in keeping people safe and supported.
