📊 Australia’s jobs paradox: low unemployment, high demand and a shifting workforce

New reporting highlights a striking trend in Australia’s labour market. Despite low unemployment and strong demand for workers, many employers are still struggling to fill roles. At the same time, participation patterns are changing as workers reassess their priorities, skills and long-term career goals.

For career educators, this reinforces the importance of high-quality career development. When people understand their strengths, options and pathways, they are better equipped to navigate a labour market that is both full of opportunity and undergoing rapid change.
