ion Kids are immensely encouraged to express their creativity and participate actively. We regularly arrange multicultural events where kids and family members in Wyndham council participate. This community group helps the members to create a sense of belongingness and a strong connection in terms of professional, social and cultural bonding.

“Annual Picnic 2025”

কুয়েট এলুমনি ভিক্টোরিয়া'র বাৎসরিক বনভোজন মানেই ধুমধাড়াক্কা একটা আয়োজন, একেবারে সারাদিন কর্মচান্চল্য-প্রাণপ্রাচুর্যে-হৈহৈরৈরৈ-এ ভরপুর একটা দিন।

আয়োজনের তোড়জোড় চলছিলো মাসখানেক ধরেই। ক'দিন আগে, জেসি (৯৭'ইই) 'কুয়েট মেলবোর্ন ২০২৫' লেখা ইয়া বড়সড় ঢাউস একটা কেক বানিয়ে এলুমনি গ্রুপে ছবি ছেড়ে দিলো! এই ছেমড়ি প্রতিবছর এ কাজটা মহা-আনন্দ সহকারে করে! এবারে'র ওর কেকে'র ছবি দেখেই মনে হলো, যাই এখনি একপিছ খেয়ে আসি ওর বাড়িতে রাতদুপুরে হামলা দিয়ে!

১৬ ফেব্রুয়ারী দুপুর নাগাদ সুমনভাই (৯০ মেকা), শফিক ভাই (৯০ সিভিল) সহ, মেলবোর্ন থেকে ঘন্টা দেড়েকের পথ, ক্যাসেলমাইন বোটানিক্যাল গার্ডেনে পৌঁছালাম! দুর থেকেই চোখে পড়লো কুয়েটিয়ানদের বাচ্চাকাচ্চাদের সাথে কবিরভাই (৯০ সিই)সহ হুড়োহুড়ি! কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই শুরু হলো তেলিগাতী'র স্মৃতিকাতর পোলাপানের হাড়ি-পাতিল-পানির বোতল-বাসনকোসন-কেক-ডেজার্ট গাড়ি থেকে টানাহেঁচড়া।

'সবাই কেক খাও, কেকের প্লেট হাতে-হাতে নাও' প্রিন্সের নতুন কেনা সাউন্ড সিষ্টেমের হুংকার! 'কাচ্চির আগে কেন কেক'? মেলটনের মজাদার কাচ্চির হাড়ি গড়িয়ে গড়িয়ে আসতে একটু সময় নিচ্ছে, তাই কেক ভক্ষণপর্ব শুরু - সভাপতি আশরাফ ভাই (৯২ ইই) এর আলাপন! মজাদার কেক মুখে পুড়তে না পুড়তেই পার্ক করা গাড়ি থেকে কাচ্চির বিরাট হাড়ি গড়ানোর শব্দ!

'ভাবী-বাচ্চারা খাবার নেন' - এক্স তেলিগাতীদের চিৎকার-রৈরৈ! লাইন ধরার আগেই হাতেহাতে গরমগরম কাচ্চি-চিকেন রোষ্ট-টিকিয়া-সালাদ দেয়া শেষ! চিন্টু-প্রিন্স-রিয়াদ কার নামটা রেখে কার নাম বলি? সবাই যেন সাক্ষাত এক একটা মেশিন! মুহুর্তেই শ'খানেক জমায়েতের হাতেহাতে খাবার বিতরণ শেষ! 'ভাই, সবাই জর্দা-দই-মিষ্টি নিয়েন' শামীম (৯৭'ইই) এর আরেকদফা চেঁচামেচি!

ভাবীদের ইভেন্ট, বাচ্চাদের খেলা, বুড়োদের পায়ে বেঁধে রাখা বেলুনফুটানো, আশরাফ ভাই (৯২ ইই), বাবলু ভাই (৯২ সিভিল), কাজী (৯৪ ব্যাচ) গংদের ইয়া বিরাট ফার্মের ছাগল-ভেড়া দেখতে দেখতেই কেটে গেলো পুরো একটা তেলিগাতীময় দিন! দিনশেষে মামুনের (৯৫ ইই) লটারি টিকেট ড্র! প্রথম পুরস্কার 'আস্ত একখান ছাগল' জিতে নিলো আমাদেরই অতি আদরের চিন্টু!

নিপুন বড়ুয়ার মর্টগেজ অষ্ট্রেলিয়াকে বনভোজন স্পনসরশিপের জন্য কৃতজ্ঞতা! ফার্মের মালিকদেরও আস্ত একখান জ্যান্ত ছাগল স্পন্সরের জন্য মোবারকবাদ! অতিসত্বর এই ছাগল জবাই করে, বিরানিভোজের আয়োজন হবে, রব তুলেই মেলবোর্নিয়ান তেলিগাতীদের বনভোজন ২০২৫ এর পরিসমাপ্তি!!

আমরা, মেলবোর্নের কুয়েট প্রাক্তন ছাত্ররা, বাংলাদেশে চলমান ছাত্র আন্দোলন নিয়ে আমাদের উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করছি। কুয়েটের প্রাক্তন ছাত্র হিসেবে, আমরা আমাদের প্রিয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের বর্তমান ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কল্যাণ ও নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে গভীরভাবে উদ্বিগ্ন।

ছাত্র আন্দোলনগুলি ছাত্রদের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা ও হতাশার বহিঃপ্রকাশ, যা তাদের জীবন ও ভবিষ্যতের উপর সরাসরি প্রভাব ফেলে। কুয়েট প্রশাসনের উচিত এসব উদ্বেগকে গুরুত্ব সহকারে নেওয়া এবং সকল ছাত্রছাত্রীর জন্য একটি নিরাপদ ও সহায়ক পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করা।

আমরা দৃঢ়ভাবে বিশ্বাস করি যে প্রশাসনের প্রধান দায়িত্ব হলো ছাত্রছাত্রীদের নিরাপত্তা ও সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করা। সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে, আমরা কুয়েট প্রশাসনকে অনুরোধ করছি যাতে তারা ছাত্রছাত্রীদের উদ্বেগগুলি দ্রুত ও কার্যকরভাবে সমাধান করে এবং তাদের সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করে।

তাছাড়া, আমরা স্পষ্টভাবে জানাতে চাই যে কুয়েট অ্যালামনাই ভিক্টোরিয়া, বর্তমান ছাত্রছাত্রীদের ন্যায়সঙ্গত দাবির প্রতি সমর্থন প্রদান করছে এবং তাদের দাবিগুলি যথাযথভাবে সমাধান করার আশা প্রকাশ করছে ।
