Angliss students achieved exceptional results at the 2026 AUS-TAFE Culinary Trophy State Finals, taking home three Gold Medals, one Silver Medal and the prestigious Overall State Champion title.

A special congratulations to Zetong Zhang (Alexis), who was named Best Culinary Student and Overall State Champion.

Congratulations to Team Angliss!

🥉Master of Hospitality Entrepreneurship student Rita Li Yu Yang and Master of International Hotel Leadership student Napat Bunnag have been awarded third place in the 2026 VTIC Student Entrepreneurial Award.

💡Their idea, Gateway APAC is an AI-tourism marketing intermediary designed to help Victorian tourism small and medium enterprises (SMEs) increase their visibility in key Asian markets.

The competition showcased an outstanding standard of business ideas, with all participants recognised for the quality of their business cases and presentations.

We're proud to see our students recognised for their innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to shaping the future of Victoria's visitor economy. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement!

🥉 Congratulations to our Certificate III in Hospitality graduate Gemma Scott on an outstanding third-place finish in Restaurant Service at the 2026 Global Skills Challenge in Wollongong!

Competing against top international talent from across Asia and Australia, Gemma demonstrated the high-level skills and composure developed through her training at Angliss and with WorldSkills mentor.

Part of the 2026 Skillaroos Training Squad, Gemma now continues preparing to represent Australia at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 in September.

We are proud to celebrate representing Angliss, being the 2026 Victoria Regional Winner at the Nestlé Golden Chef's Hat Award, taking home a gold medal for his culinary excellence.

Having competed four times at the Regionals, Chris delivered an exceptional performance, demonstrating elevated flavours, refined culinary techniques and outstanding presentation.

🍽️ Main: Spice Crusted Lamb Rump, Confit Leek, Lemon Gel, Feta Filled Silverbeet, Couscous Salad & Demi Lamb Sauce made with MAGGI Korean BBQ Sauce
