The team focuses on designing, building and developing multi-rotor and fixed wing platforms for research projects and competitions. Members can gain experience in composite manufacturing, electronics, structures, d
ynamics and control, safety and airspace regulations, as well as sensor integration and autonomy. Members can also receive multi-rotor flight training from an experienced Team Pilot via flight simulator and one of the team's multi-rotor platforms. They will also gain experience in planning autonomous missions and operating on-board sensors. The team supports Final Year Thesis Projects across a range of disciplines, as well as post-graduate students. The Bundoora team is aimed at 3rd and 4th year engineering students, with projects available for a range of interests and many ways for them to count towards your coursework. Our city based team offers an easy way to dive into the drone world: either from a manufacturing or software point of view. The team is completely voluntary and no membership payments are required.
