TL;DR
A lot has to go right to bring together 317 students and pull off the best night of the year for archi kids. Luckily it did and I have all of you to thank!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!
I hope Archiball was just as amazing a night for you as it was for me. We had a beautiful and newly renovated Alumbra which radiated with perfection last Thursday evening. Next year we will be hosting Archiball in the equally gorgeous Ms. Collins and is bound to be even better!
I wanted to thank everyone that helped in putting this together; Sienna & Simone were both vital in the organisation of the finer details in the lead up and on the night. Thanks as well to Nick, Tanya & Will for the help in promoting and crowd control on the night. Couldn't have done it without you!
Archiball was backed by the Institute last year but this year we wanted to fly solo to prove how powerful students can be. It was nerve racking to see several thousand dollars drained from my personal bank account to pay security deposits and the bond but I can now say that it was all worth it. Seeing hundreds of people dance and forget the perils of studio for a night is a thrill that I can't explain.
Next year Archiball will fall on the shoulders of the enthusiastic and socially remarkable Sienna Tardini. I had a great time over the last two years putting on this show but it's time for bigger and better things and she is the perfect person to fill that role.
If you want to be involved next year and be part of the committee that delivers the biggest Archiball ever please let us know. Comment below or message this page and leave your details. Being a part of this event is incredibly rewarding as well as fun. It's a chance to try something new, learn how to run a huge event as well as potentially earn yourself a free ticket to the party! You cannot miss out on this, be a part of it.
Look out for more information towards the end of this year and get ready to secure your tickets early next year.

Once again, thank you for being involved; this just couldn't happen if students like you didn't get around it. Your support is what made this amazing, and your continued support is what will continue to make it grow.
With Love,
Daniel Lawson
