This month, Sebastian Bernal (Diploma of Screen and Media) and Julian Lopez (Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media) from Australian City Design College Adelaide gained hands-on industry experience through an internship with Adelaide music producer and director Aaron Pelle.

The students helped direct the music video “No Man’s Land,” putting their creative skills into practice while gaining valuable experience in a real production environment. 🎥🎶

A familiar favourite gets a fresh digital makeover in this impressive 3D Yoshi render. This student project explores how modelling, materials, lighting, and animation can come together to create a character that feels full of personality and life. ✨

With its playful styling, colourful environment, and detailed 3D presentation, the project shows how creative ideas can be transformed into an engaging digital scene. Every element, from the character design to the surrounding setting, works together to create a fun and memorable visual experience. 🎮🎬

Projects like this are a great example of how 3D design combines creativity, technical skill, and storytelling. We love seeing our students experiment with familiar characters while developing their own digital design skills. 👏

Every year, Victoria celebrates the Friday before the AFL Grand Final with a public holiday, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the excitement and atmosphere leading into one of Australia’s biggest sporting events. 🏆🇦🇺

📢 ACDC Melbourne Campus will be closed on Friday, 25th September for the AFL Grand Final public holiday. Classes and campus operations will resume as usual on Monday, 28th September.

For our international students, Grand Final weekend is also a great opportunity to experience a unique part of Melbourne life. From seeing footy colours around the city to joining the celebrations with friends, it’s a chance to discover another side of Australian culture. ✨🏉

From soaring above the cityscape to capturing the intricate details of iconic buildings, the student has created a visually engaging piece that showcases a strong eye for composition, perspective, movement, and storytelling. 🎥✨

🤖💃 Bringing creativity to life through 3D animation!

Australian City Design College is proud to showcase the creative work of one of our talented design students. In this fun 3D animation project, a playful robot character takes centre stage with an energetic dance, bringing personality, movement, and creativity to life. 🎶✨

The project demonstrates the student’s ability to combine 3D modelling and animation techniques, with careful attention to movement, timing, form, and visual presentation. The dancing character adds a fun and engaging element, showcasing how technical design skills can be used to create entertaining digital experiences. 🚀
