Neon buzz meets bustling street-energy at Monash Night Out🏮

Monash College students joined the Monash University community at the Monash Caulfield campus for an evening inspired by the vibrant energy of Tokyo and Seoul.

From live entertainment and interactive activities to free food, giveaways and pop-up experiences, the night was all about connecting, celebrating and making new memories. It was a chance for students to meet new people, experience something different and feel part of the wider Monash community.

Our students brought the energy as they cheered on the Monash Men’s and Women’s teams in their warm-up clash against Deakin University. From the pre-game buzz to the final buzzer, it was a fun day filled with big moments, great company and plenty of Monash spirit. 🏀

At the BLAST Business Expo, our Foundation Year Business Enterprise students stepped into the role of entrepreneurs – pitching their original product ideas to a live audience of staff and peers in a 'Shark Tank'-style showcase.

This week, we recognise National Sorry Day and National Reconciliation Week 2026.

National Sorry Day (Tuesday 26 May) is a time to acknowledge the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families and communities – the Stolen Generations. Monash University held flag-lowering ceremonies across Australian campuses to mark this solemn occasion.

National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June. This year's theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is a shared responsibility – and that each of us has a role to play.

Monash College shares Monash University’s commitment to foster a society that recognises, respects and includes Indigenous peoples, cultures and knowledge. We invite our community to learn, reflect and take action.
