Melb MACS will be held bi-monthly with the aim of providing networking opportunities, information exchanges, peer support and mentoring for media & cultural studies researchers based in Melbourne. A short history:
MACs began in Brisbane as an inter-university network pioneered by Melissa Gregg to support ECRs, postgrads, staff and researchers generally within the field of media and cultural studi

es. It ran many successful panels and even better drinking sessions. It enabled what many of us felt were great conversations that lead to collaborations, opportunities and mentorships.
