For the fourth time in five years, Queen's reached the Grand Final in Men's Football, and for the fourth time, the opponent was Trinity College. It's become a terrific rivalry, with Queen's holding the upper hand across three straight wins.

This year, Trinity brought their usual intensity, and after Queen's held an early lead, momentum swung their way in the second half, closing it out 63-60.

Congratulations to Trinity for their win and for being such great opponents; to our men who did Queen’s proud; and thanks to the many Queeners and parents who cheered from the sidelines. We hope to see you all again next year to continue this rivalry!

We welcomed the team from Palisade Integrated Management Services (PIMS) for an evening on careers in engineering, joined by around 15 students keen to explore the field.

PIMS takes on a Queen's student every year through their internship program, and it was great to have both current intern Caroline Berg and past intern Liv Perkins back to share what the experience meant to them.

Four PIMS engineers spent the evening talking with students over dinner about opportunities, mentorship, and what life in the workplace is really like.

Thanks to Mia Moraes and the PIMS team for continuing to invest in this partnership - it's the kind of support that makes a real difference for our students.

It was a big weekend of basketball and football, with four of our teams reaching the finals. First up was our Women's basketball team in the minor final against St Marys, the culmination of a strong season with the match itself coming down to the final minutes. Congratulations to the team on their season, and to St Marys on the win.

A weekend of planting native trees and restoring coastal habitat - Queen's residents joined the Phillip Island Landcare Group to contribute to conservation work on the island.

Wyvern Fleur Maidment (1987) once again connected our students with the opportunity, spending the day planting alongside Landcare volunteers and supporting the ongoing revegetation and biodiversity work happening across the island.

The trip also included a visit to see the fairy penguins come ashore and a walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, rounding out a weekend of nature, wildlife and the outdoors.

Thanks to Fleur, the Landcare team and all our students for giving their time to help regreen Phillip Island.
