Samoa here we come...

Over $5,000 in profit raised!

Words cannot express how grateful we are for the incredible support at our Year 11 Samoan Fundraising Gala Night! Every single dollar raised is going directly towards our upcoming Service Trip to Samoa this September! ✈️🌺

Our Year 11 team will be heading overseas to roll up their sleeves and give back directly to a local partner school community. The funds raised will go straight toward purchasing essential playground materials, new tables and chairs, fresh paint, and much-needed literacy and science resources to equip their classrooms and create a brighter learning environment for the students! 📚🔬🎨

This unforgettable night wouldn't have been possible without our amazing 21 Year 11 students, who stepped up and took ownership of their roles with so much pride. From hosting, greeting, and waiting tables, to serving delicious food, managing the music, running the raffle tickets, and tackling the late-night cleanup, you all shone so brightly!

A massive thank you to all the staff members who came out to show their love, and to everyone who filled the room with joyous Samoan singing and traditional dancing. The energy was unmatched! 🎶💃🕺

🏛️✨ YEAR 6 CANBERRA TOUR 2026 WAS A BLAST! 🚌❄️

Our Year 6 students have just wrapped up an incredible, action-packed week exploring Australia's wintry capital!

Starting with a fun-filled coach ride on Monday, July 27th, our combined team of Edinburgh College and Heritage College students spent three epic days taking in 12 iconic government and national venues before heading home on Friday, July 31st.

From stepping into the grand halls of Parliament House and the High Court to getting inspired at the Australian Institute of Sport and reflecting deeply at the Australian War Memorial, our students were completely awestruck at every turn. 🇦🇺🎖️

It was a week full of learning, friendship, and unforgettable moments that will truly last a lifetime. Huge well done to all our Year 6s for representing our schools so brilliantly! 👏🌟

The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion, the Australian Government is contributing funding to our school in the amount of $45 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER) program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.

✨ In Him We Live: FLAG & WOW Week 2026 ✨

What an unforgettable week! From our 3-year-olds in the ELC to Year 12, our campus was alive with joy, music, and deep spiritual reflection as we celebrated our annual FLAG & WOW Week! 🙌 Heartfelt thanks to Pastor Taz Greenwood for guiding us through the life of Elijah and reminding us what it means to be anchored in Christ. 📖⚓️

Here are a few highlights from an epic week across campus:

🔥 Elijah’s Journey: Daily chapel messages tracing Elijah’s story, from trusting God at the Brook Cherith to hearing His gentle whisper in the cave.
🎨 Primary Fun: Altar crafting, dough-making, sports on the oval, and daily chapel!
🏀 High School Hype: High-stakes Student vs. Teacher basketball, BBQ fundraisers, and Friday night After Hours.
🎬 Eli & Friends: The iconic daily staff video series that had the whole school laughing and singing along!
⛪ Sabbath Worship: Wrapping up the week together as a church family at Lilydale Church.

A huge THANK YOU to Pastor Taz, our Chaplaincy Team, staff, and student leaders for making this week so special. May we all continue walking in the confidence that in Him, we live! ❤️

NATIONAL CHAMPION & ALL-AUSTRALIAN SELECTION!

We are thrilled to share some incredible sporting news from our school community!

Oscar Barrett recently represented Victoria at the School Sport Australia 15U Male Netball Nationals. The Victorian team dominated the court, finishing the tournament as back-to-back undefeated National Champions! 🥇✨

Adding to this huge achievement, Oscar had the honour of being selected as the Victorian Vice-Captain and was named in the prestigious All-Australian Team for his outstanding play and leadership throughout the tournament.

What an amazing milestone in Oscar's athletic journey as he continues to shine as one of the best young male netballers in the country.

🎉 Victorian State Junior Tenor Trombone Champion for 2026! 🎉

At the recent State Solo and Ensemble Championships 2026, Kiahna delivered an incredible performance, taking home 1st place in the Junior Tenor Trombone category (under 22 years of age)! 🏆🎶

Proving her amazing talent doesn't stop there, Kiahna also competed with a second piece in the Open category, competing against players of all ages, including seasoned adults. She brought home 3rd place with a massive score of 95%! 🥉✨

What an incredible achievement against top-tier competition. Well done, Kiahna! We are all super proud of you! 👏🎶🎺
