SuniTAFE, Sunraysia Institute Of TAFE Welcome to SuniTAFE, NW Victoria's award winning & largest government funded education & training provider.

A small TAFE with a large reach, the Institute was established in 1980, instigated by a number of local educators who recognised that the introduction of post-secondary education was integral to the needs of the growing community and regional industry. Today, SuniTAFE is a vibrant educational community, with two main campuses at Mildura and Swan Hill, and a training SMART farm at Cardross. Together these facilities provide vocational education and training for the people of Loddon Mallee North and beyond. In fact, the SuniTAFE now has programs on its scope of registration operating in every state and territory in Australia. Through the use of technology and a commitment to building educational partnerships that improve opportunities for our students, the SuniTAFE's reach now extends far beyond the boundaries of its geographic location. Training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

We can't believe it's nearly that time of year again where we celebrate apprentices, trainers, and employers at our annual Trades Night celebrations!

From engineering and plumbing to carpentry and more, we’re looking forward to recognising student success across a range of trades.

If you’ve been nominated for an award, be sure to check your emails for more information about securing your tickets for the night, and be sure to remind your friends, family, and employer to book their tickets too!

Following the success of 2025 where we awarded more than 50 students, we’re excited to once again welcome local businesses and industry representatives to our campuses as we celebrate the achievements of our students. 👏

Both apprentices will be in Melbourne tonight for the event where they'll be recognised for their success alongside other high achieving VET students from across Victoria.

SuniTAFE's campuses were filled with the colour yellow today in recognition of R U OK? Day, a national initiative designed to encourage meaningful conversations about wellbeing. Our students and staff took part in a range of engaging activities that sparked connection and important discussions. 🗨

While we celebrate the message behind R U OK? Day, we also recognise that checking in with someone doesn't need to be limited to just one day a year. A simple conversation can make a real difference, any day. We are fortunate to have an incredible Student Support Services team who are always available to provide guidance and support.
