🚴‍♀️🏁 Temple Pedal Prix – Round 2 Highlights 🏁🚴‍♂️
Our Temple Pedal Prix Racing Team had an outstanding day at the Bend 6 Hour (23 May 2026)! With 6 trikes and 44 riders, supported by a community of around 140 people, it was a true team effort.

✨ Top Results:
🥉 Thunderbird 4 (All-Female Middle School) – 3rd place in their first race! Already aiming for 1st next time 💪
🥉 Thunderbird 6 (Senior Boys) – 3rd place in a strong field
⚡ Alexander narrowly missed fastest lap by just 0.565 seconds

🚴 Across all teams: 389 laps (1,089 km) in one day — an incredible achievement!

👏 Special mention to Elijah for outstanding safety awareness, earning the honour of waving the chequered flag at the finish.
💙 Thank you to our amazing parents and supporters — the team spirit was outstanding. Bring on the next race!

“Learning from others in humility.”

It is always a privilege to hear from our students

Today we kicked off National Reconciliation Week with our Year 11 Spirituality, Religion and Meaning (SRM) class leading us through some thoughtful reflections on biblical reconciliation the theme for of “All In” for Jesus and “all in” for caring for the marginalised. Their reflections beautifully link to their recent visit to Hammond Care to put their words into action about caring for the marginalised.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

🔬 Stage 2 Chemistry at Flinders University 🔬
In Week 9, our Stage 2 Chemistry class visited Flinders University for an Analytical Chemistry workshop, exploring chromatography techniques studied this term.
Students used HPLC, gas chromatography, and liquid chromatography to separate mixtures—including glow stick compounds and coloured drinks—and investigated sodium levels using atomic absorption spectroscopy.
This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of how these essential techniques are used in fields like forensics, environmental science, and medicine.
