Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and a well-deserved honour.

Congratulations to Marcel on receiving a CSA Award recognising 40 years of service.

Throughout his career, Marcel's service has been consistently characterised by faithfulness to Christ, dedication to Christian education, investment in people, and a readiness to lead wherever God has called him.

His influence has shaped schools, communities, colleagues and generations of students, leaving a legacy that extends far beyond the classroom.

We are thankful for Marcel's leadership and congratulate him on this significant recognition of a lifetime of faithful service. 🎉💙

🏆 Redemption Complete: Staff Reclaim Netball Glory! 🏐
After going down to the students in 2025, the staff returned in 2026 determined to redeem themselves... and redeem themselves they did! 💪🎉 In a commanding performance, the staff claimed victory 38 goals to 23, reclaiming bragging rights for another year.

🔬🧪 National Science Week was a huge success! 🧪🔬

Students enjoyed a range of exciting science activities and competitions throughout the week, sparking curiosity, creativity and plenty of friendly competition.

A highlight was the fantastic science display in the SLH, along with the popular "Are You Smarter Than a Science Teacher?" quiz, where several students impressed staff with their scientific knowledge and quick thinking! 🧠👏

Students also had the unique opportunity to use an electron microscope during science lessons, exploring specimens in incredible detail and experiencing the world of scientific discovery firsthand.

A huge thank you to our Science Team, staff and all participating students for making National Science Week such an engaging and memorable celebration of science. 🌟🔬

⭐🎭 "It felt so professional!" 🎭⭐

One of the greatest rewards of our Senior Drama Production was hearing the incredible feedback from audiences who came along to watch Go Back for Murder.

Some of the comments included:

💬 “It was really polished.” 💬 “I honestly forgot I was watching high school students. It felt so professional.” 💬 “I was completely captivated and had no clue who the murderer was!” 💬 “The energy and excitement of all the actors showed in every performance.” 💬 “The acting felt like a professional production.”

These comments are a wonderful reflection of the commitment, talent, and countless hours invested by our students and staff behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in the production and to the many family members, friends, and community members who came along to support our performers.

👏 Well done to all who helped bring this thrilling mystery to the stage. What an incredible achievement!

🔎🎭 Go Back for Murder | Senior Drama Production

This year’s Year 11 & 12 SACE Drama students brought Agatha Christie’s Go Back for Murder to life, taking audiences on a gripping journey through a 16-year-old murder mystery.

The production followed Carla Crale and Justin Fogg as they revisited the past in search of the truth behind her father’s death, raising questions about memory, justice, and how far we would go to prove someone’s innocence.

As the biggest event on the Drama Faculty calendar, the Senior Production is much more than a performance. Students are assessed not only as actors, but also as theatre practitioners, contributing to areas such as set design and costume development.

From mysterious music and dramatic revelations to unforgettable performances, our students embraced every element of this classic whodunnit with enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism.

👏 Congratulations to all of our Drama students for the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that made this production such a success.

🎉 What a fantastic night at the MASA Quiz Night! 🎉

With pens at the ready, the timer counting down, tables full of food, puzzles, and challenging mathematical and general knowledge questions, the stage was set for a great evening, and it certainly delivered!

We were proud to have 7 teams of 4 students representing Temple Christian College across all year levels, including 2 Junior teams, 3 Intermediate teams, and 2 Senior teams, our strongest participation in recent years. Students worked collaboratively, embraced the challenge, and represented the College with enthusiasm, respect, and great team spirit.

A huge thank you also to our 8 Mathematics teachers who gave up their time to support students throughout the evening. Their encouragement and commitment helped make the event such a success and highlights the incredible Mathematics team we have at Temple.

ABODA 2026 🎶🥁🎺

Congratulations to all ensembles who competed at the ABODA Bands Festival, held at Westminster during Week 4 of this term! 🎉

This year, our Percussion Ensemble 🥁, Junior Concert Band 🎶 and Stage Band 1 🎷 competed, all being awarded a bronze placing 🥉 in their divisions (Percussion Ensemble and Stage Band 1 pictured).

👏 Well done to our students on their involvement and commitment, and a big thank you to the instrumental tutors, classroom music staff and administrative staff who made it possible for us to participate.

🌟 We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and their fantastic efforts representing the school at this year's festival! 🌟

🚴‍♀️🏁 Another fantastic result for Temple Pedal Prix at Round 4, the Tailem Bend 8 Hour!

Our 44 riders across six trikes delivered outstanding performances at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, completing a combined 451 laps (approximately 1,538 km) in a day of racing.

🥉 Thunderbird 4 secured 3rd place in the S2F category, making it three podium finishes from three races for our all-female Middle School team in their debut season.

🥉 Thunderbird 6 also claimed 3rd place in the Senior School category, completing an impressive 101 laps (344 km) and narrowly missing the fastest lap by just 0.176 seconds.

We are incredibly proud of the determination, teamwork and commitment shown by every rider, pit crew member, marshal and supporter. A huge thank you to our families, volunteers and sponsor Scott Pearce from Electric Bikes Superstore Adelaide for helping make the day such a success.

🌟 Da Vinci Decathlon Success! 🌟

Selected students from Years 7 and 9 recently represented our school at the 2026 Da Vinci Decathlon held at St Peter’s Girls School. This challenging academic competition tests students across ten disciplines, and our teams rose to the occasion after weeks of dedicated lunchtime preparation.

👏 A huge congratulations to our Year 9 team, who achieved 1st place in Engineering, an outstanding result against strong competition. They also earned placings in Art and Poetry.

👏 Our Year 7 team also performed exceptionally well, achieving strong results in English, Legacy and Creative Producers. Their enthusiasm and determination have them already looking forward to competing again in Year 9!

We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, commitment and resilience shown by all students involved.

🙏 Thank you to Mr Pitman, Mrs Durant and Miss Nakos for their support and guidance in preparing our teams.
