Join the Griffith ER and HRM Society as a committee member!
This is such an exciting time to show employers that not only can you study during these difficult changing times but you can excel by making a contribution to Griffith Community.
This is a club run by students for students, the purpose of the club is improve students experience at University by creating meaningful events. The aim of the club is to help students improve their employability and network by providing opportunities with leading HR professionals.
Don't worry if you're not sure what to do, the existing committee members will be here to guide you.
What is required from you:
Come to a fortnightly meeting
Strengthen your network of HR professionals (we will also help guide you in this area and introduce you to our existing network)
Work in a team
Be proactive
Annual General Meeting
(This is where we vote in new committee members)
6:30pm Tuesday 25th October
GC campus venue tba - Online option will be available

GERHRMS Nathan is teaming up with us (GEHRMS Gold Coast) to bring you 'HR and ER in Action'. Held at 6:30pm next Wednesday the 3rd of August through teams, In this event we want to look at important topics that not only have value for students studying HR and ER but students of all fields and degrees.

We have established a fantastic panel with industry experience throughout both HR and ER to discuss the topic of awards and enterprise agreements. Not only is this a great opportunity to expand your network but a fantastic chance to learn more about your rights as an employee.

Youth Advisory Committee
*APPLICATIONS CLOSE MAY 1st 2022*

Bonney District is recruiting students to take part in their Youth Advisory Committee, seeing behind the scenes of politics, business, community engagement and so much more. They will get to meet with Sam, learn to work collaboratively in a team environment and be able to share opinions regarding social matters.

For some students, this will also help them improve their employability and expand their career path. Although preferring those of business and political discipline, we’re accepting students of all backgrounds!

It really is a great way for students to develop their skills and experience personally and professionally too.
