MC3 showcase night 2026🎉

During semester 1, we had the opportunity to share our innovations and achievements from 2025, setting our sights for even bigger goals for 2026! It was a great moment to see our growth in designs and projects, celebrating the efforts from the sub teams. Huge thanks to anyone who was able to come and bring the vibes.

This year we are planning to go far and beyond, with bigger and better discoveries that we’ll share with you throughout the year 🚀

EMAR team update! 💧

Hear from Nashia, one of our EMAR engineers, about their latest work! 🌟

"We electropolished the copper electrodes using phosphoric acid to effectively remove any buildup that forms after each test, avoiding the repetitive and labor-intensive task of sanding the surface. This process not only restores the electrodes to a pristine condition but also maintains a consistent surface area throughout the experiments, ensuring more accurate and reliable results!"

Our formic acid team was recently trained up on the formic acid flow cell that was previously developed for the CRC Open Air competition earlier this year. This demonstration involved both setting up and packing away the cell, with a small demonstration of how it would work once on! 🧪

With this, our formic acid team can properly determine points of optimisation within the set up, and scale it up to fit within the rest of the DAC2Conversion pilot rig 💧
