Australian Dental Graduates

Congratulations on reaching your final year of Dental School! We wish you a successful, rewarding, happy and fulfilling career in Dentistry. One outstanding graduate will be named The Australian Dental Graduate Of The Year and will receive $1000. you. Dr Stephen Dudgeon and Dr Eli Burger from Avenue Dental started the Australian Dental Graduate Of The Year Award in 2014 as a way of supporting and recognising the next generation of dental graduates

Due to the amazing quality of dental graduates and because Avenue Dental wanted to give back more to the next generation of dentists, we also initiated the Avenue Dental Mini Residency in General Practice Dentistry. This aims to educate new dental graduates in the foundational skills required to be an exceptional general dentist. The training program consists of four free one day lectures and hands on workshops at our training facility in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast and is by invitation only to the top dental graduates each year. In 2014, Avenue Dental ran both the Australian Dental Graduate Of The Year Award and the Avenue Dental Mini Residency in General Practice Dentistry as a pilot program with new graduates from the University of Queensland. This pilot program was so successful we wanted to expand these programs to include all Australian Dental Schools in 2015. Through the Australian Dental Graduate Of The Year Award and the Avenue Dental Mini Residency in General Practice Dentistry we believe we are working towards our calling in life:
