Today we held a special celebration for a much loved social work student. Kylie Austin graduated in January this year and sadly passed away a few months later. Her family joined us to plant a tree and unveil a plaque in her honour. We shared our love and admiration for Kylie, wrote on leaves to bury beneath her tree, and reflected on the beautiful and positive impact she had on her classmates, tutors and the staff here at Shoalhaven campus.
