Created by a collaboration of medical and public health researchers, historians, journalists and communications experts this is the first online resource of its kind, developed to give comprehensive, authoritative and independently authenticated medical and public health information about asbestos. It includes an extensive archive full of fascinating historical imagery and documentation, a series of personal stories brought to life through audio and video - told by the people affected by asbestos, a comprehensive list of links to key resources in each State, as well as a DIY renovators guide to help us understand what we need to do if we suspect we have asbestos in our homes.
