TAFE NSW - Murwillumbah

TAFE NSW - Murwillumbah TAFE NSW is the leading training provider in Australia and amongst the largest in the world.

Murwillumbah, the business centre of the Tweed Shire, sits in the shadow of Mount Warning, the world’s biggest extinct shield volcano. Mount Warning is also known as Wollumbin to the local Bundjalung people and is an important sacred site. As Murwillumbah is 25 minutes from coastal areas and the Gold Coast, and 90 minutes from Brisbane, it is close to beautiful beaches, world heritage listed natio

nal parks and bustling metropolitan centres. Murwillumbah is also the home of the renowned ‘Speed on Tweed’ and ‘The Tweed Valley Banana and Harvest Week’ Festivals. Murwillumbah TAFE Campus, located on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung people, is handily located in the central business district and offers a range of courses, from entry level to Bachelor level, that meet many career requirements. In 2019 our state of the art Connected Learning Centre opened at 115-117 Wollumbin St, close to the CBD, and this brand new facility has greatly increased our range of study options to include Work Health & Safety, Real Estate, Leadership & Management, Individual and Ageing support, Basic Computing Skills, Tourism & Visitor Information to name a few. Faculty and course areas include: Community Services; General Education courses (e.g. Tertiary Preparation, Communication and Media), Arts and Media - Visual Arts (includes fine arts, ceramics); Information Technology; Electrotechnology; Business Administration and Retail.
